Team Pairing
To balance teams, we have created a simple system. In this example we will use 8 players.

Initially before the actual tournament, there will be two (2) anarchy games. Each game will consist of 4 tournament players. Kill goal will be set at 50 points. Pairings will be constructed as described below.

Game 1 Results
1 - A
2 - B
3 - C
4 - D
Game 2 Results
1 - E
2 - F
3 - G
4 - H

Each player from game 1 will be paired with a player from game 2 . The top player of game 1 will be with the bottom player of game 2, second place will be paired with the third place and so on.

The results would be -
Team 1 - A,H
Team 2 - B,G
Team 3 - C,F
Team 4 - D,E

Tournament Match-ups
Tournament matches will also be determined by the pairing games. In the same scenario you would have 4 seeds on the bracket. The team’s seed will be determined by their members’ combined performance in the previous phase of the tournament. Below will be an example of how this plays out.

A - 50
B - 43
C - 31
D - 21
E - 50
F - 41
G - 32
H - 27

Thus when you add the team members' total you get
Team 1 (A,H) - 77
Team 2 (B,G) - 75
Team 3 (C,F) - 72
Team 4 (D,E) - 71

In the double elimination style bracket, you will clearly see that the top rated team determined above will play the lowest rated team, and the middle ranks play each other respectively. Thus the better individuals perform, the more favorable their match-up.
